Todo sobre mi madre (1999)
Not quite sure how to react to Pedro Almodovar's All About My Mother. Imagine getting e involved with a transvestite who did not know he had a son for 17 years, only to be told from his wife that he is dead. The same wife for a nun who is was also pregnant with a child from her husband, who gave her not only a child but also AIDS, killing her at child-birth. Strange as this story is, it made me cry. 7/10

Slumdog Millionaire (2008)
Can't remember the last time I went to the theaters to see a movie on the day of release. That was fun.
The movie was not as bad as some personal opinions I came across suggested, nor did I think it painted India/Indians in a bad light. But I did not find it very well made either. The characters are not fully developed, even protagonists, the acting is mediocre and the questions are easy. who made the maximum centuries in first class for One Million INR? Give me a break. But entertaining on the whole. 6/10. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1010048/

Les Bonnes Femmes (1960)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053666, a gripping movie but I could not figure out the end. Story of four girls working in an appliance store. One likes to party and screw middle aged men behind her soldier boy-friends back, another that sings in a shady place without telling her friends, a third that has a pretentious boy-friend (huh?) and a fourth that falls in love with a mysterious bike rider who takes her to an abandoned places, strangles her leaving behind a bunch of clues.
What? Where's the story? 3/10

Broken Flowers (2005)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412019. Bill Murray bachelor a who retired after having made his money in "computers " gets a letter from unknown ex-girlfriend that he has a son who is coming to look for him. Before the said son can find him he goes on a search for the potential mother. He meets four exes, who have decreasing levels of affection for him --- the first he has sex with (after ignoring her teenage daughter called Lolita (really) who appears before him in the buff) deteriorating to getting hit by the biker friend of the fourth. And he returns, without him or us finding out who the mother is. And the movie ends soon thereafter, without him or us finding out who the son is.
It is a comedy but in a strange weird way. Like the the tween next to him in a plane that has a toy horse that neighs rather loudly. I couldn't stop laughing at Bill's reaction to that, but I don't know why that was so funny.
